Art Direction for Bloomingdale's

Responsible for photoshoot direction concept and art direction on set, collaboration with producers in selection of photographer, models, and/or prop stylists within budget, managment of post-production in tandem with retouching team, final layout and typography design.

Evolution of “Fashion Director Finds”

Creative Direction: Johnathan Cassidy + Sophia Tang ︎︎︎ Art Direction + Design: Emma Cason-Pratt

This section was formerly a collage style spread featuring seasonal favs from each Fashion Director at Bloomingdale’s. We evolved the design to move from the montage puzzle of silhouetted laydowns to a splashier editorial spotlight with larger photography styled within environments to give the products more energy and personality. This change in design strategy resulted in content that was easier and more fun to engage with.

Throwback to art school! For this shoot, I art directed the accessories photography featured in the 100% Exclusive campaign for Spring 2016. The concept was to use art terms in collaboration with American artist Ken Tate to highlight designer collaborations unique to Bloomingdale's.

One of my all-time favorite shoots, this story features the work of miniatures artist Phillip Nuveen. From an assortment of merchandise, I researched each brand and created moodboards for environmental prop ideas that Phillip used to bring each piece to life.
